Sometimes I’m already booked, but that doesn’t mean you have to miss out on having your session beautifully captured. My associate shooter is a talented photographer based here in Antigua who shares my photography style and approach to storytelling through photos- candid, timeless, and full of emotion.
When you book through me, I’ll handle all communication, planning, and editing to ensure your final gallery is consistent with my signature look. Hola! I’m Gabriela Sapon, a photographer and creative based in Antigua, Guatemala. I’ve always been drawn to storytelling in its most honest and human form, and photography became my way of observing, connecting, and holding onto moments that would otherwise pass unnoticed!
I work across couples, weddings, brands, and retreats, with a cinematic and documentary feel. While some shoots call for styled poses, I’m most drawn to the real moments, the in between, the movement, the emotion, and the energy of a place and the people within it!
Living in Guatemala has shaped so much of how I see the world. Being surrounded by culture, nature, and a strong sense of community has grounded and moved forward the way I create. It constantly reminds me to slow down and pay attention…
While Guatemala is home, travel has always been a big part of my life and my work. Being in different places and cultures continues to influence how I tell stories. I’m available worldwide and always open to documenting stories wherever they unfold!
