Alex and Ethan’s Engagement Session at the University of Tampa
Getting to photograph Alex and Ethan’s engagement session was such a special moment for me. Alex and I go way back to our college days—we were in the same business fraternity—and when she asked me to capture her wedding, I was beyond excited.
We decided to shoot their engagement photos at the University of Tampa while I was in Florida, and it was the perfect spot. Not only is the campus gorgeous, but it also has a sweet connection to Ethan’s family—his parents got married there! It felt like such a meaningful way to tie in a little nod to their love story.
We had a bit of a curveball with some rain earlier in the day, but it cleared up just in time, leaving us with that soft, post-rain glow that photographers dream of. The campus gave us so many great backdrops, from the iconic minarets to quiet little nooks that let Alex and Ethan just be themselves.
I loved seeing their connection shine through in every shot, and I’m so grateful I got to be part of this chapter of their story. I seriously can’t wait to celebrate with them on their big day—it’s going to be amazing!
