KAHUNA DESIGN BUILD | EXCEPTIONAL SPACES WITH INTENTIONAL DESIGN
Early this year, I had the privilege of working with Kahuna Design Build to capture the incredible art that is building a space. Kahuna Design Build is amongst many things a Design and construction company that specializes in Architectural & Interior design, Construction, Project & Property Management, and Landscaping currently in El Paredon, Guatemala.
As a portrait and wedding photographer, I love stepping into spaces that challenge me- real estate and properties being an industry that I'm learning more and more about these days. As an artist committed to learning, I think saying yes and working on different types of projects allows us to exercise parts of us that always find ways to inform our other projects.
Here are some of my favorites from this incredible time in El Paredon
Villa Rosa
Villa Rosa was inspired by the colonial architecture of Antigua, yet with a modern, beach influenced twist. It offers a spa-like retreat in a hidden corner of El Paredón. It has three beautiful bedrooms that all look out on to the pool and the palm trees beyond. It offers an open plan kitchen and lounge area full of artistic touches.
Villa Stella
Casa Stella invites you to kick back and experience life in our easygoing, remote surf town. Just a 5 min walk to the volcanic black sand beach and best waves in Guatemala, this modern & stylish guesthouse was thoughtfully designed by the homeowner, who is a well-known local chef.
Villa Marañón
This beautiful and stylish villa is a lovely private place to enjoy the community of El Paredón in comfort. Upstairs, the room has AC, private bathroom with hot water, high quality linens and a terrace with hammock. Downstairs, the kitchen, lounge and dining area as well as salt system pool, ensure you have everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay.
